by Anna Young

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Colorado recognized 21 projects with design awards and five local architects with honor awards at the AIA Colorado Design & Honor Awards Gala on Friday, September 7, 2018.

Peer-reviewed and judged by architects in Portland, Oregon, the winning projects were designed by architecture firms across Colorado and were recognized for innovative uses of materials, space and design, as well as for fostering “livable communities.”

We are pleased to share that Red Owl won a 2018

Notable Award from the AIA Colorado

for outstanding design!

CF Studio, the firm responsible for designing Red Owl, is an award winning architecture firm that specializes in design-centric urban infill projects, including mixed use, multifamily, single family and office. “There are thousands of architects in Colorado and they are all doing great,” said Cathy Rosset, Executive Vice President & CEO of AIA Colorado. “But our design awards offer a chance to celebrate the best of the best and to honor the architects who are pushing their designs to the next level so that they serve the community and clients, both today and in the future.”
