West Wash Park

About this Neighborhood

Listen up active Denverites, this is your neighborhood. If you’re looking for a neighborhood that’s packed with daytime goings-on and then breaks for peaceful nights, Washington Park might just be your cup of tea (or bottle of beer, if you’d prefer). Everywhere you look, people are out and about enjoying the great outdoors. Washington Park itself is home to the city’s premier running loop—2.5 miles to be precise—and you’ll see hoards of residents walking dogs, playing volleyball, inline skating, picnicking, biking and speed-pushing strollers on the daily.

In a nutshell, Washington Park is a lot of neighborhood next to a lot of stuff—it’s not tucked in the middle, so you really feel like you can breathe. Plus, it’s just so darned hip. With bars, music venues, antique stores and an emerging restaurant scene, you’ll never run out of new things to do. You’re also super close to I-25 and the hipster hangs on South Broadway.
