  • Part Time Office Assistant

    Job Description

    We are looking for a part time office assistant to help on weekends and some hours on weekdays. This individual will need to be organized and have the ability to connect and communicate with people. As an office assistant, this person will need to be personable, organized and willing to help in any area.

    Responsibilities

    Greet any visitors walking into the office in a professional and friendly manner. Answer main phone line and talk with residents or prospects and deal with any issues they might have. Answer the leasing line and talk with prospects about apartments, knowledge of buildings, help with any application questions and schedule appointments. Use our software system to enter work orders called in by residents and notify anyone that would need to know to assure it gets taken care of. Help with anything office staff might need, which may include but not limited to scanning documents, filing invoices/deposits, putting together move in packets or gifts. Scheduling showings by adding any showings to our leasing agents' calendars for any prospects that want to see a property. Update marketing sources - Craigslist, postlets, and other sources. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (or in process of acquiring, Microsoft Office experience (preferred), Yardi Voyager experience (a plus), great at verbal and written communication, ability to multi-task, organized, able to communicate in Spanish (a plus).

  • AP Clerk

    Job Description

    We are looking for someone to help with accounts payable including the daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    Utility billing, accounts payable, deposit accounting, organization, sorting mail, filing/scanning and department support. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (preferred), Microsoft Office experience (preferred), accounting experience, great at verbal and written communication, able to multi-task, organized, team player, Yardi Voyager experience (a plus).

  • General Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Experience in all areas of apartment maintenance is required including: plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, boiler work, and unit turns.

  • Grounds Keeper

    Job Description

    Help keep each building look clean and neat. The grounds and common areas are the first impression of Cornerstone that prospective tenants have, we want to show them we are attentive and care about each and every property. 

    Requirements

    Landscaping knowledge is a plus, and experience is preferred. Must be able to list 50+ pounds and climb ladders when needed. Driver's license is necessary. Must have reliable transportation. Must be reliable, dependable and detail oriented.   • Maintenance I - HVAC / Electrical / Plumbing

    Job Description

    We are looking for someone to help with MAJOR maintenance in all portfolios. This position will be in charge of, but not limited to, minor to major plumbing, electrical, boiler work, and A/C units.

    Requirements

    Plumbing - issues including troubleshooting and soldiering pipe; Electrical - troubleshooting and finding any issues; Boiler work - checking the boiler temperatures and efficiency, boiler work to improve/fix issues; A/C units - making sure everything is working correctly and efficiently; Work orders - repairing all work orders in a timely manner; Teamwork - working with all Portfolio Managers and Maintenance Technicians to get the job done. You must have your own vehicle and tools.
