  • Assistant Portfolio Manager

    Job Description

    Support a Portfolio Manager and properties to work within the company structure while having the ability to think on your feet and adapt to all types of situations. This position requires customer service by corresponding with residents, vendors, clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner. Organization and time management are necessary due to the high volume of daily tasks. Assist Portfolio Manager with any administration work or maintenance, which includes, but not limited to, work order management, demand for rent, security deposits and management of rentable items. We are looking for an individual with great organization and time management i.e use of Google platform to schedule and organize daily tasks and manage all projects at once. Ability to oversee maintenance operations which includes, but not limited to, maintenance staff, renovations, unit turns, service requests, and special projects. Supporting the maintenance staff by running errands to pick up supplies as needed. Cornerstone is looking for an individual who can lead by providing guidance or advise to staff when needed. Ability to understand goals and creating budgets by working hand in hand with the Portfolio Manager and clients. Understanding the dynamics of a divers resident profile and listing to their needs. 

    Requirements

  • Accounts Receivable

    Job Description

    The Accounts Receivable employee will be responsible for managing A/R lifecycle at both portfolio and corporate levels. Manage both manual and electronic deposit batches. Maintain resident ledgers – both receivable and charge receipts. Authority to make adjustments/changes to resident ledgers. This person will be the liaison between Accounting department and Portfolio Managers for any lease related A/R issues or concerns (Delinquency, Demand for Rent, Payment Violations that pertain to lease). Manage and process Maintenance billing bi-weekly at the property level. Manage, understand, and help with online rent payment if and when residents call or come into office

    Position subject to other tasks and responsibilities based on company, client, or servicing requirements

    Requirements

    We are looking for someone with accounting experience, great verbal and written communication, ability to multitask, well organized, and a team player. Bachelor's Degree, preferred. Microsoft Office experience, preferred. Yardi Voyager experience, a plus

  • Office Assistant

    Job Description

    This candidate must work well individually, have a great attention to detail, motivated, organized, with great verbal and written communication skills. This person will support the office on the weekends. Responsible for, but not limited to, greeting visitors, answering phone calls on the leasing and operator lines, enter work order called in by residents, communicating with residents of package deliveries, scheduling showing and updating marketing sources such as Craigslist, postlets, and other sources. This candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to understand the importance of open communication among departments. Microsoft Office experience preferred and Yardi Voyager experience, a plus. Able to communicate in Spanish, a plus. This position is Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

  • Software Specialist

    Job Description

    This individual will responsible for network and server management. Ensure that the office network is functioning properly, adding new user and computer accounts as needed, ensuring that the server is regularly backing up, backup recovery, updating server OS. Manage security for all computers, iPads, and any other company property is up to date with security updates, ongoing security education for employees, maintain network and physical security. Install software and support any technical issues. Act as tech support and provide technical support to residents experiencing issues with their online portals. Learn and understand intimate knowledge of interdepartmental flow within Cornerstone and how Yardi/RENTCafe work for all side of business. Be Cornerstone’s SPAC for Yardi and RENTCafe, enter in all cases and ensure the outcome is related and executed. Handle phone system by monitoring and maintaining the phone servers and hardware. Work with various technology vendors and negotiating contracts. This person will be responsible for all device management (updates, best technology, issue to new staff, recover from separated staff, etc). Update and keep formatting fluid with training manuals for all departments – on boarding and ongoing training for employees. Help troubleshoot technology issues with Paylocity for employees.

    Requirements

    We are looking for someone with strong critical thinking skills, strong organizational and communication skills.
    experience working with Information Technologies, 2+ Years Required. Knowledge of data security, 2+ Years Required. Previous experience with firewalls, access points and networking, required. Previous experience with Yardi and RENTCafe, preferred.Previous experience with ShoreTel phone servers, preferred. Previous experience with VMware, preferred. Looking for someone with a solid work ethic, self-motivated and has a positive attitude. This is a full time position 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday - Friday, but may require some work outside of normal business hours.

  • Maintenance I - HVAC / Electrical / Plumbing

    Job Description

    We are looking for someone to help with MAJOR maintenance in all portfolios. This position will be in charge of, but not limited to, minor to major plumbing, electrical, boiler work, and A/C units.

    Requirements

    Plumbing - issues including troubleshooting and soldiering pipe; Electrical - troubleshooting and finding any issues; Boiler work - checking the boiler temperatures and efficiency, boiler work to improve/fix issues; A/C units - making sure everything is working correctly and efficiently; Work orders - repairing all work orders in a timely manner; Teamwork - working with all Portfolio Managers and Maintenance Technicians to get the job done. You must have your own vehicle and tools.   • Grounds Keeper

    Job Description

    We are looking for someone to help with grounds in all portfolios. This position will be in charge of, but not limited to, trash removal, leaves, sweeping, plants and lawn care, gutters, bulbs, shop supplies, posting notices, and snow removal.

    Requirements

    Landscaping knowledge, a plus. Landscaping experience, preferred. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Climb ladders when needed. Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
